Services include:
- 2 (two) scheduled Preventive Maintenance visit per year including
- On-site repairs in case of instrument failure

Preventive Maintenance (PM):
- Cleaning and greasing
- Wear and tear parts (these typically include, but are not limited to, valves, syringes, tips, tip
assemblies, and tubing)
- Adjustments
- Instrument specific tests as outlined in the Service Manual
- Volume Verification at 2 points and a Reader Validation will be performed after the PM
- Includes travel costs, and labor
- Service report
- Software support for upgrades and bug fixes, contingent to constrains on the age of the equipment.

Repair Service:
- Repair services are covered up to an aggregate limit of USD $10,000.00 per instrument, inclusive of labor, travel, and all related expenses. This limit is based on approximately 50% of the replacement cost of a comparable refurbished instrument in good working condition fit for production laboratory use.
- If repair costs are determined to be technically infeasible or are expected to exceed the coverage limit, the covered amount may, upon mutual written agreement between the customer and the service provider, be applied toward the purchase of a comparable refurbished instrument in good working condition fit for production laboratory use, in lieu of performing the repair. Any costs exceeding the coverage limit shall be excluded and subject to separate quotation and prior written approval.

- Agreement does not cover the computer or instrument control software

Also included:
- Direct line support - Monday through Friday between 9am and 7pm EST, excluding statutory holidays, with 24-48 hour response time
- Remote trouble shooting support with 48-72 hour response time
- On-site support within 72 hour to 1 week after remote trouble shooting effort made.

Each agreement will be applicable to one of the following:
- Tecan Freedom EVO 100 (s/n 1101003516) 30 grids, fixed tip
- Tecan Freedom EVO 100 (s/n 1406000390) 30 grids, disposable tip
- Tecan Freedom EVO 100 (s/n 1305008082) 45 grids, disposable tip

Note:
- Prior to enrollment in Repair Service coverage, each instrument is required to undergo a pre-assessment inspection, which is subject to an additional fee. Enrollment in the Repair Service coverage is contingent upon the successful completion of this pre-assessment, confirming that the instrument is in a condition suitable for coverage.
- Continued eligibility for Repair Service coverage is further contingent upon the instrument undergoing periodic calibration to ensure proper operation, intended use, and minimization of operational error. Calibration services are not included in the Repair Service coverage and may be fulfilled through one of the following options, each subject to additional cost: 1) Provision of a calibration kit and training for customer-performed calibration; 2) Calibration services performed by the service provider.
- Failure to complete the required pre-assessment or to maintain periodic calibration as outlined above may result in denial, suspension, or termination of Repair Service coverage.
- Replacement parts for PM and repair may be from a third party, pre-owned, and/or refurbished.
