GLH QC Kit

Compliance and Applicability

The GLH QC Kit conforms to the Single-Dye Photometric System according to ISO 23783-2:2022, and the Single-Dye Photometric System described in ISO/IWA 15:2015 for automated liquid handling systems. It can be used to fulfill test and calibration requirements of handheld multi-channel pipettes according to ISO 8655-7:2022. The GLH QC Kit can be used to fulfill test and calibration requirements of handheld or automated liquid handling systems according to CLSI QMS23:2019, ISO 17025, cGMP, and cGLP. The GLHTracker software can be used in laboratories compliant to 21 CFR Part 11.

Automation Trainer’s engineers have designed the Kit to be universally applicable to virtually any liquid handler with the capability to dispense into 96, 384, 1536-well microplates with flat-bottom, U-bottom, or V-bottom format.

DMSO-based reagents should be used when optimizing the dispensing instrument for higher viscosity liquid dispenses.

Yes! Our kit works with 96, 384, and 1536-well, with Flat-bottom, U-bottom, and V-bottom format. If you’re using quite a specific format, such as square and vertical well with glass bottoms, we can schedule a call with you to make sure you have your needs covered.

No, the GLH QC Kit would only work with our reagents. If you are concerned about the volume of our test dyes, you can contact our team at support@automationtrainer.com and we’ll gladly help you to make sure you will be using the dyes to its maximum potential.

Maintenance and Shelf-life

The GLH QC Kit doesn’t need to be calibrated as long as the GLH QC Kit components (Universal Validation Reference Plate (VRP), test dyes) are current.

The shelf life of the dye is currently at two years.

Reference or Standard Curve

A fixed volume, known variable concentration set of dispenses is compared to another known concentration dispense to determine the dispensed volume.

There is no need to make a new reference curve so long as the following two conditions are met:
1. The testing environment (temperature & relative humidity) is the same.
2. The testing equipment (reference & test microtiter plates) is the same.

GLHTrackerErrors and Troubleshooting

Try re-launching the program. If you’re still experiencing the same error after 3-5 times, you can contact our team at support@automationtrainer.com and we’ll gladly help you troubleshoot the software.

Please check the Microsoft Excel that’s being installed in the computer that you’re using the GLHTracker with. The Microsoft Excel has to have an active license and up-to, date, and the GLHTracker might not be usable if it has an invalid license / out-of-date. If you’re still experiencing the same error, you can contact our team atsupport@automationtrainer.com and we’ll gladly help you troubleshoot the software.

Services and Training

Liquid Handling Bootcamp

  1. Go to the “Reserve Your Spot” section on the Liquid Handling Bootcamp page.
  2. Choose which city/edition of the bootcamp you would like to attend.
  3. Click the “Add to Cart” button, and click “View Cart” or “Checkout” by using the shopping bag icon on the top right of the site.
  4. Complete the registration by filling your data and proceed to the payment for the booking fee by using your credit card or PayPal (with additional Payment Gateway fee) or by ACH through invoice.
  5. A confirmation email will be sent to you shortly after the payment has been made

The $25.00 will be refunded after the bootcamp for those who attend, providing the attendee has fulfilled one condition, which is to complete the pre-registration and post-registration questionnaire. Our team will follow up after the bootcamp to remind each attendee in case these questionnaires are not completed.

Unfortunately we are not able to refund the booking fee for those that did not attend the bootcamp following our refund policy. This fee is however transferrable and usable for future bootcamps in any locations, or for an order of our goods.

If this is your first time ordering on our Online Store, you do not need to create an account first and the account will be created on the checkout process. If you do have an account, you can sign-in with your account prior to or during any stage of the purchase.

  1. Add the desired items to your cart
  2. Proceed to checkout.
  3. Fill out the required information in the checkout page.
  4. Select payment method.
    1. If we are a registered vendor with your company, you can upload the Purchase Order (PO) with all the necessary information in the “File upload for Purchase Order” section, and select “Purchase Order” as the payment method.
    2. Otherwise, you can pay for the order by using you credit card or PayPal account (only for certain items)
  5. You should receive an invoice in the email that you use for ordering to confirm that the payment has been received and that the order is being processed.

IMPORTANT: if you opted to pay with Purchase Order and you did not upload your PO document, you are required to email our sales team your PO at sales@automationtrainer.com with the Order Number referenced in the email’s subject.

• Shipping is free for all orders that satisfy the minimum order quantity.

Yes, your demo Kit must be returned upon the completion of the demo period. You will have to follow the procedure that we will provide. Failure to return the Kit in an acceptable condition described in the procedure will result in a penalty.
